Job Shadow & Internship Opportunity
NECA Puget Sound Chapter: Student Talent Pipeline Program
We are excited to launch a new initiative connecting students in Construction Management and Electrical Engineering with our member contractors through job shadowing and internships.
Whether you’re looking to host a student for a day to showcase your work or bring on an intern, we want to help make those connections meaningful.
What We’re Offering
- Job Shadowing: A one-day experience for students to observe operations in the field, office, or fabrication shop. Ideal for underclassmen or students exploring the industry.
- Internships: Typically 8–12 weeks of paid summer employment, supported by NECA’s stipend and scholarship model. Scheduling for internships for Summer 2026.
How It Works
- Fill out the form to indicate:
- If you’re open to hosting a student for a job shadow.
- If you have a specific internship opportunity available.
- What roles, locations, or schedules you can support.
- NECA will match interested students with your company and coordinate next steps.
Why Participate?
- Inspire the next generation of construction professionals.
- Build a pipeline of potential hires.
- Help students understand the complexity, innovation, and opportunity in the electrical contracting industry.
