Year End Safety Committee Meeting

The Meeting

Mark your calendars for our end of the year Safety Committee Meeting! We will be welcoming Brian Padgett, Attorney with Employer Solutions Law. Brian will be presenting some of the legal updates and the importance of keeping your employee handbooks updated.

Our second guest speaker is AB from the University of Washington, who will be introducing a best-practice manual on the use of AI for safety planning. SAFE-AI Guide presents a structured approach to leverage Generative AI (GenAI) technology for effective safety planning. This is a practical guide for construction safety planning, particularly for small and medium enterprises, so they can confidently use GenAI in their safety planning work, including organizational safety policies, site-specific plans, AHAs, JHAs, and toolbox talks.

We have reserved our own training room and when Brian and AB are done presenting their topics, we will have social hour to play unlimited games until 1:00PM.

The Social Hour

The second half of the meeting, we will be enjoying all the fun activities that the Flatstick Pub – South Lake Union has to offer, from duffleboard to mini golf.
