Advanced Managerial Accounting

We’re excited to announce that we will be hosting a class on Advanced Managerial Accounting this October at the JATC in Renton!

This course builds familiarity with advanced managerial accounting terms and strategies, starting with the unique structure of a construction industry financial statement and why it looks the way it does. From there, learners move into analyzing financial statements, including break-even volume, financial ratios, and key performance indicators, all critical to how CMs and CFMs are evaluated on financial health. The course also covers equity versus debt financing, how to leverage trade discounts to accelerate early payment terms, and how profits are determined, along with the common pitfalls that erode them.
