SUMMARY:Your Data\, Your AI: How Electrical Contractors Build the Foundation That Makes It Work Webinar
DESCRIPTION:Take advantage of this free webinar\, offered at no cost by NECA National! \nEvery electrical contractor is being told to adopt AI — but most firms are skipping the step that determines whether it actually works: getting their project data in order first. AI tools are only as good as the data they run on. When drawings\, specifications\, contracts\, and field documents are scattered across email threads\, shared drives\, and personal laptops\, AI doesn’t solve the problem — it amplifies it. This session gives NECA members a clear\, practical roadmap for building the data foundation that makes AI reliable\, secure\, and worth the investment. Attendees will learn how leading EC firms are centralizing and governing their project data today\, what that enables them to automate tomorrow\, and how to take the first step without overhauling their entire operation. \n\nUnderstand why data organization and governance — not the AI tool itself — is the primary factor in whether AI delivers ROI for EC firms\nIdentify the most common data gaps that cause AI tools to fail or create risk on construction projects (scattered files\, version control failures\, insecure sharing)\nWalk through a practical framework for centralizing project data across office and field — without requiring a dedicated IT team or a full platform migration\nSee real examples of what becomes automatable once data is centralized: RFI retrieval\, document search\, compliance tracking\, and closeout packaging\n\nDate: Tuesday\, August 25th\, 2026 \nTime: 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM PDT \nLocation: Virtual – Free to attend \nRegistration: Register Here

SUMMARY:A Comparison of Fault Managed Power (FMP) and Traditional AC Distribution in High Performance Data Centers Webinar
DESCRIPTION:Take advantage of this free webinar\, offered at no cost by NECA National! \nArtificial intelligence workloads have pushed data center power demand well beyond what traditional AC distribution architectures were designed to handle. Where 25–50kW racks once represented the leading edge\, AI training and inference clusters are now approaching 1MW per rack\, compounding pressure that was already building from co-location price increases of up to 30%\, competition from EV charging infrastructure buildout\, and state-level electrification mandates. The result is a power distribution supply chain under severe strain\, with transformer and switchgear lead times stretching past 100 weeks\, alongside a shrinking pool of skilled electrical tradespeople. \nClass 4 Fault Managed Power has emerged as a technology uniquely positioned to meet this moment. By transmitting high-voltage DC power as safety-checked digital “packets” over lightweight structured cabling rather than conduit and busway\, FMP collapses the distance between electrical distribution and IT-style installation practice\, even as rack loads climb toward megawatt scale. \nThis session presents an updated comparative analysis of FMP versus traditional AC architectures in large-scale\, high-performance data centers\, examining how each approach scales toward near-1MW racks. The talk revisits the technology’s core value proposition:\n•    Electrically safe operation of the data hall at extreme power densities\n•    Initial cost savings on the order of 33%\n•    Faster speed to deployment\n•    Space savings from reduced distribution equipment\n•    Built-in electrical power monitoring\n•    Fewer points of failure\n•    Lower long-term maintenance costs \nAttendees will leave with a clear framework for evaluating FMP as a viable\, disruptive alternative to conventional AC distribution as AI-driven power demands continue to accelerate. \nDate: Thursday\, September 17th\, 2026 \nTime: 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM PDT \nLocation: Virtual – Free to attend \nRegistration: Register Here

SUMMARY:ELECTRI Research Spotlight: EC Job Descriptions and Checklists Webinar
DESCRIPTION:Take advantage of this free webinar\, offered at no cost by NECA National! \nAs part of their Partnership for Career Advancement Program\, ELECTRI International\, is releasing several new resources for Electrical Contracting firms.  Join researcher Dr. Deniz Besiktepe from Purdue University and focus group members to learn more about how you can use these exciting checklists and templates in your business. \nThe resources include: \n\nHR Onboarding Checklist– This checklist is designed to be adaptable across companies of varying sizes\, organizational structures\, and departments. It captures core onboarding and career development fundamentals; not all items will apply to every organization\, and additional items may be required to meet specific operational or departmental needs. HR staff\, office managers\, or direct supervisors should review this checklist prior to the employee’s start date and designate each item as applicable\, recommended\, or not applicable based on company size\, structure\, and role requirements. Some items in this checklist apply differently depending on whether the new hire is office-based or field-based. Some field-based items are provided separately.\nProject Checklist– This Project Checklist is a customizable project performance tool designed to support consistent\, accountable execution from preconstruction through closeout. It helps project teams capture key project information\, assign ownership\, track recurring and milestone-based actions\, and surface risks early so they can be addressed proactively. Adaptable to projects of varying size and complexity\, it serves as a living dashboard and central hub for project accountability.\nJob Descriptions for an Electrical Contracting Company– This resource provides adaptable job description templates for key functions within an electrical contracting company\, including preconstruction\, BIM/VDC\, engineering\, project management\, safety\, purchasing\, prefabrication\, procurement\, and project controls. Designed as a flexible reference rather than a fixed structure\, it helps contractors align roles\, support team development\, and build a high-performing organization.\n\nDate: Tuesday\, September 22nd\, 2026 \nTime: 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM PDT \nLocation: Virtual – Free to attend \nRegistration: Register Here
