DESCRIPTION:Many people lose their lives each year across the United States while performing operations within a confined space. Nearly all of these fatalities were preventable. Federal & state OSHA have set forth strict confined space entry standards across all industries in an effort to reduce injuries and deaths. Employers are required to implement an effective Confined Space Entry Program when their employee(s) enter confined spaces.
